背景资料	Cathepsin S, also known as CTSS, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CTSS gene. A member of the peptidase C1 family, CTSS gene is a lysosomal cysteine proteinase that may participate in the degradation of antigenic proteins to peptides for presentation on MHC class II molecules. By fluorescence in situ hybridization(FISH), this gene is mapped to 1q21.3. The encoded protein can function as an elastase over a broad pH range in alveolar macrophages. The bond-specificity of this proteinase is in part similar to the specificities of cathepsin L and cathepsin N.

需要用户自己提供的器材和试剂

1.96孔读板仪器。
2.自动洗板机.
3.移液器和枪头。建议使用多通道移液器/排枪。
4.Eppendorf 管。
5.额外洗板缓冲液 (neutral PBS 或 TBS。试剂盒内提供足量。如需额外缓冲液可参考如下配方)。
- 0.01M TBS: Add 1.2g Tris, 8.5g Nacl; 450μl of purified acetic acid or 700μl of concentrated hydrochloric acid to 1000ml H2O and adjust pH to 7.2-7.6. Finally, adjust the total volume to 1L.
- 0.01M PBS: Add 8.5g sodium chloride, 1.4g Na2HPO4 and 0.2g NaH2PO4 to 1000ml distilled water and adjust pH to 7.2-7.6. Finally, adjust the total volume to 1L.
